Crochet A Brussel Sprout.
(If you don’t stuff it, you could put a small wrapped chocolate inside).
Work 4dc in an adjustable ring, enclosing the yarn end as you work, pull tight on the yarn end to close the opening.
ROUND 1: 2dc in each st to end (8sts)
ROUND2: *2 dc into next st, 1 dc into next st, rep from * to end (12 sts)
ROUND 3: *2dc into next st, 1dc into next st, rep from * to end (16 sts)
ROUND 4: *2dc into next st, 1dc in next st, rep from * to end (20 sts)
ROUND 5 and ROUND 6: 1dc in each st to end
ROUND 7 :*dc2tog, 1 dc into next 3 sts, rep from * to end (16 sts)
ROUND 8: *dc2tog, 1 dc into next 2 sts, rep from * to end (12 sts)
Start stuffing (if using) the sphere now, but do not over stuff. Make sure the shape is nicely rounded.
ROUND 9: *dc2tog, 1dc in next st, rep from * to end (8 sts)
Stuff the sphere a little more, keeping the shape rounded.
Break off yarn, leaving a 10cm (4in) yarn end. Using tapestry needle, thread yarn through the sts of the opening and pull tight to close. Secure off.
